  I need to thank Sophie. She was my writing partner, and my lovable bulldog, until she crossed Rainbow Bridge on September 2. I miss you sitting on the couch with me when I write.

  During the final two weeks of finishing of this book, we thought it would be a good idea to get a puppy. So that's been fun. It's proven to be quite a challenge, but I look forward to another writing partner, once this puppy is trained!
